At Effivis we respect your right to privacy and data protection under the GDPR and Spanish LOPDGDD. This page explains how to request the deletion of your data if you have interacted with a business using our platform.

What data does Effivis store?

Effivis is a business automation platform that enables businesses to manage customer communications across different channels:

  • WhatsApp Business: messages, phone number, profile name
  • Instagram Direct: messages, Instagram identifier
  • Facebook Messenger: messages, Facebook identifier
  • Email: email address, message content

Important: Conversation data is processed by the business you interacted with, which acts as Data Controller. Effivis acts as Data Processor on their behalf.

How to request deletion

Option 1: Contact the business directly

If you remember which business you interacted with, the fastest option is to contact them directly. They have GDPR tools in their Effivis panel to handle your request.

Option 2: Send a request to Effivis

If you can't contact the business or prefer us to handle it, email:

Please include the following so we can locate your data:

  • Your phone number (if you used WhatsApp)
  • Your Instagram or Facebook handle (if applicable)
  • Your email address
  • The name of the business you interacted with (if you remember it)
  • A short description of your request

Response times

Under GDPR, we respond within 30 days. In exceptional cases this may be extended by up to 2 additional months, in which case we'll inform you beforehand.

Additional rights

  • Access: obtain a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Rectification: correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Portability: receive your data in a machine-readable format.
  • Objection: object to processing in certain circumstances.
  • Restriction: request that processing be limited.

Developer information (Meta Platform)

If you reached this page from the permissions configuration of a Meta app (Facebook/Instagram), this is the data deletion instructions page required by Meta Platform policies. Effivis complies with all Meta Platform requirements for handling user data. To automatically delete data associated with a business app on Meta:

  1. Go to your Facebook or Instagram account settings
  2. Find "Apps and websites" or "Connected apps"
  3. Locate the business app and select "Remove"
  4. Confirm you want to remove all associated data
