Domain registration

This page sets out the terms that apply to domain names registered through EFFIVIS TECHNOLOGIES S.L., and the rights you hold as the registrant.

1. Who registers your domain

EFFIVIS TECHNOLOGIES S.L. acts as a reseller, not as a registrar. Domains you contract with us are registered through Soluciones Corporativas IP, S.L., which is the ICANN-accredited registrar.

2. Applicable registration terms

When you register a domain through us, the registrar's registration terms apply to you. They are available at https://www.dondominio.com/legal/. We recommend reading them before you contract.

3. Your rights and responsibilities as registrant

ICANN publishes a document setting out the rights and responsibilities of anyone who registers a domain name. It is worth reading and is available here:

The Registrar Accreditation Agreement (RAA) between ICANN and registrars is available on the ICANN website.

4. The domain is yours

You are the registrant of the domain, not us. We manage it on your behalf, but ownership is and remains the customer's.

Which means, and we want to say it plainly: if you stop being a customer or stop paying, we do not hold your domain. The website service may be suspended, but the domain remains yours and you can transfer it to any provider you choose. You can request the authorisation code (authcode) needed for the transfer at any time, and neither we nor the registrar may refuse it or get in the way.
